Action Masters and Pretenders are G1 Transformers Too!

...or so I've been hearing.

There have been a lot of people saying I'm cutting myself short of some of the "better" toys in the G1 series. Really? Transformers that don't transform? I already have those and they're called a waste of money Heroes of Cybertron.

When I was little, I didn't have these toys. I think I was just getting out of the toy phase. Now, all snarkiness aside, I have been looking at the figures and they have some damn fine sculpts, and cool features. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of a Transformer toy that doesn't transform.

So, I've posted a poll seeing what people think so I'll have some data to look at. I haven't come across anyone who is as against anything past series 5 as I am, but then again, I haven't been looking that hard. So, for all 7 people that end up voting, it may persuade me to change my mind. Stranger things have happened, and I guess there's worse figures out there...

G1 Shockwave is in the House!

It took for what seemed like forever for me to get back to doing what I love, collecting Transformers! I have finally somewhat settled in my new place, and Shockers came in the mail just in time. IT was quite the travel for the guy since he had to be forward to my new address, and he showed up as undeliverable twice. I started to think it wasn't meant to be. But here he is, Shockwave.

This guy is awesome. I remember wanting him for my birthday so bad. I ended up with a rummage sale Radio Shack-Wave instead a few years later. This purple guy is the real deal. Working electronics, a nice rubbery hose that isn't all dried and cracked, all the paperwork and a pretty nice box...yeah, it's bitchin. I did have to make my own styrofoam insert for him, but that's no biggie. The people that sold it to me were very nice and generous. We worked out a pretty good deal on him. He looks amazing, and he is a nice addition to the collection.

Is it just me, or on the box in the second picture does it look like he's ripping a sonic fart? I dunno.

 

New G1 Transformers for the Site ON THEIR WAY!

Wow. It's been one heck of a move the last week. A million things have been all going on at once, and I feel like I havn't been able to catch my breath. Well, it's starting to settle down a bit, and I'm proud to say that I have a Transformer to feature on Wednesday. It took FOREVER to get here, but that's because of my moving and mixed up addresses and such. But that's not it, I already have 6 more Transformers sitting here waiting to get a story written about them. I can't wait to show them off to you. I think you might be surprised on what I found! Stay tuned!

So Many TOYS!!!!

Sorry I haven't been able to update. I have been in the middle of moving and HOLY BALLS I have a lot of stuff. My Toy room is coming along quite nicely. I'll post pics after it is finished. Can't wait to see which Transformer wins the poll! Alright, I'm getting back to work!

Shockwave leading the way, followed by Sixshot, Metroplex, and Blitzwing. Some pretty awesome suggestions if I don't say so myself.
